crinkled carnation

and so it goes.... the last of the carnations. they've lasted much longer than i thought they would but now they're getting crinkled around the edges... maybe their own laugh lines if they happen to be listening in to the antics around my house... but it's time to bid farewell, as petals are floating softly to the floor and gracie is playing - nay - spreading them high and low around the rooms of our home...

so out they'll go but will leave behind fond memories, good practice with the camera and a new eye for beauty.... in the meantime,

it's sunday... i've been super duper lazy today with a migraine raging and feeling like things can just wait. they're just things after all in the grand scheme. so i've had a cup of tea, settled in a dark room, going to see what blippin' blips i see...
