Granddaddy Buck

When this old buck decided not to hang around to have his picture taken,
I decided I wouldn't try to convince him to pose. He must have by far the biggest rack of antlers I've seen on any deer around here...not something I want to see headed in my direction. He was chasing some does when I first saw him. When they ran away, he turned and lumbered off in the opposite direction...probably in search of another female or two or three. On our walk this afternoon, we saw four or five bucks; this fellow takes the prize.
