The Street
This morning I went downtown Chicago to Water Tower Place for some street photography. This is definitely my most favorite type of shoot.
This morning it was so cold and the wind was wicked. I didnt realize I was shaking so bad that my shots were blurring. Some of the most interesting things didnt turn out so well.
This was not the best shot of the day, but it was the most powerful. This woman was standing near the garbage can checking everything before it was thrown in by passersby. If she felt something was worth keeping she put it in her plastic grocery bag.
There were very few homeless people near Water Tower. This woman seemed to have her homeless world under control. (If you could call it that) A little farther south, near Jewlers Row, there are far more homeless people and they are much worse off. That part of town is where the homeless addicts mix with the newly homeless who still have their suitcases. Its a rather scary place.
I deleted most of my shots because they were blurred. A little disapponting, but next time I'll dress a little warmer. :)
