Wheel of Fortune
This is a blip of my ipod. In my previous blip i talked about always listening to music whilst doing something else and to this torch to which lights my claims.
I got it from the apple store in New York and it goes practically everywhere i go, and has out lasted a couple pairs of headphones and countless "line-up" changes. Arguably the product that saved Apple, i dont know? I dont want to say i couldnt live without it but it has become much more of a commodity seeing as how much use it gets; commuting, walking, at the gym, playing along with my guitar, writing blips etc. I think i am more comfortable knowing i have access to it.
The ability to store vast quanitities of music on such a small device is excellent, although i feel music should take up more "real estate" because of how much i enjoy listening to it. Maybe im missing the point though, this is a portable device for a reason, people without the time to sitback and enjoy a whole album infront of their set-up can still listen to the same album while they are doing "more important" other things. You can't deny that this is a role that it fulfills perfectly.
The click wheel is red because this is the U2 edition released in 2005/6 for a short time. I have not upgraded to a larger capacity ipod on the grounds that i dont want to have the same colour as everyone else, despite there probably being a million of these, it's the songs you put on it that make it unique . . .
