no-one's idea of fun
I understand that trips to retail nightmare parks are often necessary, though choose to pop to them at off-peak times if there is any option. Both fambly-halves are now doing minimal-presents-only for winter festive period so there's no need for me to notice or particularly care how many shopping days remain. Although it's somewhere I've been only once before I didn't mind the idea of popping to Livingston as it carried with it the possibility of being able to get some Mini-Eggs over a month before they reappear in conventional shops for the 2010-2011 purchasing-season. Unfortunately, the Cadbury outlet for some reason chooses not to sell them all the year round, despite reportedly having them until at least the middle of the summer last year. Nicky picked up some replacement shoes for the ones whose skins are cracking so it wasn't an entirely wasted trip but my opinion of Cadbury's factory outlets has been quite severely dented. Plus the wingpiglet had a wee wail in the car on the way back, though playing Banda Olifante through my phone seemed to temporarily calm him. We'd fitted one of those mirror-things to enable him to see Nicky's face despite being in the back seat and facing the wrong way but it was probably too dark to be any use.
