Our Kitchen

Hot crumpets oozing with butter; home-made apple crumble and custard; a baby Lucy emptying all of the cupboards; coffee; baking with Lucy and Izzy; memories of a young Mama baking with her Grandma; old crockery which doesn't match; frosty mornings and bowls of steaming porridge; CAKE; the smell of washing fresh from the machine; toast; listening to our vintage radio and watching Lucy and Izzy laughing and dancing to silly songs; silence in the mornings except for the sound of the kettle; chaos in the evenings at Doll-dinner-time; love, laughter and food.
