It has been a horrid, wet and windy day today. Mama has been soaked through at least twice; it's not easy doing the nursery run and staying dry in pouring rain. Lucy Doll has an adorable little Charlie & Lola dome-shaped umbrella which does a good job of keeping her dry, whilst Izzy is safely tucked away under the rain-cover of the buggy.

Mama, however, needs one hand to push the buggy and one hand to hold Lucy's hand meaning no hands left to hold an umbrella :(

When we arrived home this afternoon, soaking wet, we decided to make steaming mugs of hot chocolate and bake flapjacks to warm us up. Lucy Doll fetched a big white cloth from the kitchen cupboard and said 'Don't worry Mama, if you blow your nose into this magic handkerchief then you won't catch a cold'. Love her :)
