The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

The good. A banana. I try to have one every day. I go through spells of liking bananas and then disliking them. There is a very fine line between a good banana and a bad one. Too ripe or not ripe enough. It takes skill to pick a good one.

The bad. Noodles, just add boiling water.  There's about the same nutrition in one of these packets as there is in cardboard. At least cardboard doesn't contain 49% of your daily recommended salt allowance. Note 49%, not 50%... if it were 50% then that'd be half. 49% isn't half, so that's ok. They are cheap and they fill a gap.

The ugly. Red Bull. I very rarely drink the stuff, but some days I need to. It works. Gives a kick just before the lunch time rush. The ingredients list makes interesting reading. It looks more like some thing you should pick up at a pharmacy than something you get in a drinks chiller.

Mum, if you see this, I'm eating well enough... well... at least I had a banana.
