Weihnachtsmarkt am Gendarmenmarkt

Ah, it's Christmas time. I'm actually really in the mood for it this year and so we headed for our first Christmas market this afternoon. One of the supposedly prettiest of Berlin, on Gendarmenmarkt, between the French and the German dome.

There was something for everyone - roasted chestnuts for Mark, roasted peanuts and almonds for Sam, a ballet performance for Lilli and Glühwein for myself.

Despite the slightly difficult navigation of the buggy, a very pleasant afternoon under a beautiful, darkening blue sky.
