What Science exams look like...

NCEA rules our household at the moment. This is a photo of a page from recent mock exmas where his grade was "Did Not Achieve". This is modern speak for FAIL, which makes all teenagers shrug their shoulders and go, oh well I will have another go at it later in the year. Strange system where it appears they dont care about trying too hard. They also systematically study in great detail, no, not the subject matter, but the value of sitting some parts of the exams. It is better to get "not attempted" than "not achieved" which may be why half the exam classrooms are empty well before the time is up. Strange set of values it is breeding in the modern child.
