Blow Up Christmas

I took this picture on my way home from swimming lessons today. This family has cornered the market on blow up christmas lawn decorations. I'm only sorry that I did not get a picture of their Halloween display, as it was the first old time horse drawn hearse blow up lawn display I've *ever* seen.

My partner is horrified but I'm determined when we buy a house to have one of the large snowglobe ones that has the fan to blow the snow around in it. With spotlights on it of course. I think it will make a nice contrast to the pink flamingos I intend to stake in the yard in the summer time *wink*

So I think my interpretation of christmas hell this week is over the top decorations, even though secretly I *adore* them, and hope one day to have a house that gets blipped. :-)
