Sons and Daughters

Headed into town tonight to see Sons & Daughters at Cabaret Voltaire. A friend Jan had managed to get me on the guest list and it was a great night. The only let down was that they didn't come on until nine and they were forced to finish at ten as there was a club starting after them. They could have played for a lot longer, but what they did play was great.
I've seen them twice before, once supporting Morrissy and once at Connect and they didn't dissapoint. It was even better to see them as the main act as the sound was set up perfectly for them, although Ailidh, the bassist had to request her levels be turned up after the first number than, after the second, that they be turned down "a bawhair".
