Morning Lake View
This morning my husband and I got up early and drove toward the boardwalk in town, because the clouds seemed to be nice out where we lived. As we got closer, the fog got thicker and thicker. We finally decided to turn around and head back out of town. It had got even nicer out of town, the clouds were tremendous. Big huge black clouds, and big fluffy white clouds. It was great!
I asked my husband to drive to Empire Lakes, the old standby, because I thought the reflections might be best there. They were pretty nice, and I took quite a few shots. I liked this one best, but it was pretty dark still. The clouds were a nice shade of pink though, and the sun was starting to lighten the edges of them.
I keep hearing that we might get snow this week. Years ago, when I took off Thanksgiving week, it snowed. Everyone got a snow day at work, but I didn't because I had already requested a vacation day. I was so bummed out. I will be equally bummed out if that happens this year. After this week, it can snow all it wants to.
I hope you all have a great week.
