Durango

The view from H's brother and sister-in-law's place in Durango, CO. The weather report was wrong, there is only a dusting of snow in the hills. There is more right now in Seattle! The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad runs a few feet from their back door - this time of year the The Polar Express roars by here a few times a week (maybe I can catch it later...) That's the Animas river. It's VERY cold and clear and the cottonwoods are a whole different sight from our NW evergreens. We're very thankful to here together!
