Desert Landscape

The weather was finally cool enough to take a short hike in the afternoon rather than in the early morning. I took this view across the valley floor as we headed down the Bear Creek Oasis Trail. I liked how the small rock in the lower right corner provides a bit of perspective to the overall image. While our friends are enjoying snowy weather back in Yakima, WA, we continue to venture outdoors in shorts and t-shirts.
