Dragon Team Party

Today I had to say goodbye to Loren for the week....he was headed off to Science Camp. Waaaaaaaah! I stayed there until they checked everyones sleeping bags and suitcases onto the bus, boarded and headed off. I even got one of the teachers going along to promise me a photo CD from the trip :D I prayed for safe travels, as it's always hard to send them off. I'm sure I thoroughly embarrassed him when I took pictures of my own as he headed off.

I ended up choosing a blip photo from Landon's team party tonight. We met at a pizza place and the kids got their player medals and little soccer ornaments with "Dragons 2010" to hang on the Christmas tree. We presented the coach with a plaque as well. His coach, Juan Carlos, is posed with Landon in this photo. It was his first year coaching and he did a great job with all the 5 year and under boys! He was patient and caring and he said he's looking forward to coaching again next year.
