All ready to go...

I picked up the girls from after school club, as I had to do another teacher observation until 4.30 pm. Nowadays, going back home between 4.30 and 5 pm it is already getting dark.

So we are taking precautions to be as visible as possible. Especially after the experience we had almost 2 years ago to the day. Abbie got hit by a car whilst crossing the road (on a zebra crossing with a green to her...). That accident left Abbie with a broken ankle and on crutches for nearly 2 months.

So we might look a bit ridiculous on the bikes, but as you can see Abbie is just bearing it with a big grin!
