Checking the measurements
A visit to Oakfrith Wood in Urchfont to double-check (old maxim: measure twice, cut once) the measurements of the existing interpretation board before preparing the final artwork for an updated replacement. Mrs R is wielding the tape measure here.
The walk through the wood was very quiet, except once when the frantic caws of a crow chasing a buzzard over the treetops provided a touch of excitement. More pictures of the wood here, but sadly not of the crow and buzzard.
After we left the wood there was a very splendid red sunset, which almost made it as my Blip.
