I was asked by a friend if I could convert a cassette tape - a recording of a singer he knew - to CD.

I started the first part of the process, recording the whole tape to a digital aiff file, leaving it running while I went away for a coffee. There were still some tracks to go when I returned and I forced myself to listen to them.

Sheesh. Not my cup of tea at all. Folky/wailwaily/protesty on and on...

Doing this doodle helped me a little.

PS Mrs R asked if it was worse than Leonard Cohen. Yes it was. I'm amazed there are any Leonard Cohen fans left. Would have thought they'd all shot themselves by now.
