sunken lake

we had a day out today, to get away from the sometimes crazy nature of the work that we all do (the group included nurses, pastors, directors of NGOs etc). we had an awesome time. the lake was beautifully blue and cool, we had a big old chunk of pig to braii, and the weather was wonderful. it was the last time we would be able to go the lake before the rains come, the next visit will be after march next year.

however magical it was, it is seemingly impossible to completely get away from the craziness.

on the way we stopped at an accident in the road. there was a bicycle in the middle of the road and a dead man lying at the side of the road. we stopped for a while but there was nothing we could do. on the way home we saw another much worse accident. both accidents were on completely straight roads. craziness.
