The (not so) quiet life

Leaving on a Jet Plane

After several days of avoidance I could delay no more. If we wanted to eat I had to go to Tescos. Usually this is something I hate, with multiple children in tow I usually end up misplacing at least one and on going through the checkout have a feeling which I would imagine is fairly similar to being mugged. Not so today. I had only one child. I had clubcard vouchers to spend. They opened a checkout especially for me and the boy behind it was even kind enough to help pack my bags. The icing on the cake though was the argument I had with the woman at the cashline next to me who seemed to think it was ok to let her dog jump all over me and Katy whilst she attempted to talk on the phone, find her purse and withdraw money from the hole in the wall. Cheered up my morning no end.

After nursery and the carnage of lunch (at Linseys this time so not only did I not have to make it I didn't have to clear up either) we headed for a walk down to the beach. There was so much whingeing and moaning that we only made it half way (and that was with about half a kilo of chocolate as bribes). But we did see the RAF jets. They are quite a common sight up here as they go out on manouevers from RAF Lossiemouth and Kinloss. Not for much longer though as the new government seem to be set on closing both bases and dessimating the local economy. Think they figure that no-one votes for them up here anyway so what have they got to lose.
