The best place to be watching the outdoors from today. All cosy in your jammies as the world outside comes to a standstill.

Only out once today, and that was to see if the road out of our street was passable. It wasn't and I, along with a few other community spirited neebors, ended up helping out a few vehicles that had tried. If nothing else it was good bit of exercise.

Been keeping an eye on the snow as it's passed through the Central Belt on this website today. It's updated live straight from people's Twitter status updates and it's interesting to watch the waves of snow pass across the country with pictures to match too. It would be great to have something similar that monitors what roads have been gritted and are clear as this seems to be a huge problem around the country just now.

We've definitely hit 8 out of 10 a couple of times on the snow scale today but it's all looking a bit watery as it's falling just now. I'll give it a 1 for effort currently.
