Let it Snow...

Another day of snow showers, and again the birds were out clustering around the feeders.

Another day at home too - this time without power from (we reckoned) around 2am until shortly before dusk.

Just as we were wondering if we would have to spend a whole night without light (and heat!), two brave Scottish Hydro-Electric workers appeared in our drive to reset the link to our house. They said that two huge trees had crashed down across the far end of the low-voltage line we share with our neighbours, and it had taken the best part of the day to clear up the mess.
