A Contraption
This, a simple wind-spinner made with a small ball bearing mounted in a wood block that holds three brass rods with copper wind cups soldered on the ends. On top is a small piece of double-sided mirror which provides unexpected reflections as the assembly slowly spins atop a tripod rose trellis at Annie's Cottage.
I love building things that are powered by something free like wind or moving water. And if I can include string and pulleys in the deal, so much the better.
My dear wife gives me lots of latitude with how I might create things, and this whole blippery do is a fun way for me to share. Hoping to share more later.
