One for sorrow

This tree stump is in the field across the road and when I looked out earlier there was a heron sitting at the top of it. Of course by the time I'd grabbed the camera and changed the lens it had gone. Then, a little later, I looked again and saw this magpie. I grabbed a couple of shots and then went in for the tripod and, again, it was gone once I got back out. The mast on the skyline is at the top of the North Downs - at Bluebell Hill.
