This Old House...again

I have taken this photo through the window of the old house. Purely because it would be too dangerous to go inside.

This was the larder and you can see the hooks where the meat would hang for as long as was required. The larder was on the north side of the house and the reason was that was the coolest side to keep the meat fresh longer.

There would have been shelves which would have held all the bottles and jars of preserves.

I have had a couple of low down days unfortunately..........always thinking, should I, shouldnt I. It doesnt seem to take much to knock me down. Just a few words does it.
