Elvis is in the room

We didn't set out to go to see an Elvis impersonator. This was in a pub on the main street in Bray, where we went with our Bray friends Dave and Alan after a performance in the Mermaid Arts Centre. It was a hugely enjoyable night, though a bit rushed afterwards because Carl and I had to catch the last DART at 11.20.

We weren't long in the door at Carl's place when we heard from Bray that they were experiencing thunder and lightning and snow - all all the same time. To our shame, we pooh-poohed them, only realising later on that the weirdest ever weather had found its way to our neck of the woods also. Snow in November? Snow at the same time as thunder and lightning?! Either the heavens are angry with the politicians for the economic mess they've made, or we really are in the middle of a period of serious climate change.
