Snowy windscreen

A thaw had set in by the time I left Carl's place to head over to the music session. The roads were still a bit treacherous away from the main routes, and I found myself stuck with some drivers who were over-cautious and others who were a bit reckless. I got over to the far side of the city safe and sound and wihout incident, and really enjoyed what turned out to be a good session, with a nice mix of music and everyone in good form.

The roads were almost totally clear as I drove back home afterwards, but more snow fell later on and it all got quite wintry and seriously cold. To compound things, I'd done my back in yesterday afternoon while getting ready to go out, and things weren't any better today. It's hard to know what's best when this happens - whether to lie down or sit down or walk around. I ended up doing a bit of both and applying a heat patch which brought some relief.

Unfortunately, I was feeling sufficiently crippled not to feel like facing into the work which I really needed to do. Mañana ...
