Keira, again!

Wonderful day today. Bright and sunny first thing so got all the outside jobs done in crisp sunshine. What a difference a bit of sun makes to everything. A light box is all very well, but not the same as that big one in the sky!

Ollie and I went over to check the ponies and it was such a great morning that I decided to take Nimbus out for a ride, but then realised I didn't have her saddle with me. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but it is months since I've been out on her and I didn't fancy spending Christmas in hospital!

Instead she just got a good brush and fed with 'past their best' apples, and Ollie and I went onto the beach for a run and a splash. I took loads of photos of him, but a grey dog in grey sea with a low sun didn't do justice to the fun we had. Somehow I always get waves over the top of my wellies and end up with wet feet and boots full of sand.

Last week while up at the ponies, I put my old boots, that I keep up there in the hay shed, only to find the inside one of them was soaking. Now, the roof does not leak, there are no cats/dogs or other animals about up there, all there are apart from the ponies are rabbits and RATS! I didn't realise I knew such language until it came out of my mouth!

After my Keira blip yesterday here she is again, hogging the sunshine on the window sill, above the radiator. Talk about the best seat in the house!
