Waves

Last night our dental clinic went out for a lovely Christmas meal, followed by some lovely Christmas drinks. Can't have been too befuddled when I got home as I was capable of doing a Sudoku puzzle before I went to bed!

Husband came into town to pick me up after the meal and the hailstones and sleet on the windscreen as we drove home were ferrocious. Still wild and windy today - see Dieseldaisy's blip. When I got back from church this morning I took Ollie and my camera down to the cliffs at the bottom of the field and I stood watching the waves for ages. It's so hard to get any idea of scale, but I tried to do them justice!

Managed to get my cards written yesterday afternoon, so just the presents to do. Have lit the fire and the sitting room is cosy and snug, but somehow the idea of settling down for a good read is far more appealing than wrestling with wrapping paper and sticky tape!
