Sidewalk Shopping

A typical downtown Bangkok sidewalk...plenty to buy on your right and on your left, vendors who can say "Good quality" and speak just enough English to tell you the price, foreigners strolling, looking, stopping, and working Thais trying to navigate their way through the shopping tourists. There seems to be no limit to what you can buy on the streets: shirts, skirts, underwear, swimsuits, dishes, purses, jewelry, music, suitcases, figurines, lanterns, musical instruments, toy cars made out of soda cans, and stuffed animals come to mind first.
