Autumn Afternoon in December

My walk today took to me through Pacific Heights where I meandered through busy stores full of nonsensical things that are astronomically priced. Had a little "me time" at a chocolate cafe I found. The place was full of warm colors which made me feel like autumn. I wrote furiously in my journal, specifically a poem about how my beverage was less than satisfying. But the experience was redeemed due to the delectable pecan cookie I thoroughly enjoyed. Nice to take a break and enjoy the company of random produce. Quite a relaxing day!
