Mission Accomplished

The title refers to a mammoth three hour trek I took today. My mate Kirky and I decided enough was enough on the dwindling supplies so set out on a journey to a little village that I have incorrectly stated is six miles away. It turns out to be around 4 miles away, and we set off on foot. The cars are still buried, the roads still impassable. I shot this (and about a hundred snow scenes) and think it looks quite cool.

Last night I ventured into the social club (Mondays blip) to purchase some take outs, and I was quite surprised. As well as the usual gap toothed rogues I expected there was also an old mate of mine who lives round here and an ex girlfriend as well. I confess it was a shock to find them married now, but there we go. £1.30 for a bottle of Carlsberg though? I'll have eight please bar keep.

Been thinking a lot about fate today as well. See I always believed in fate, and although I never really worked out how it works, I always seem to discover it does. I remember in 2001 the Bradford City mascot convinced me to go to Shrewsbury for a mascot gig, and there I met a gorgeous girl called Sophie - who lived on Bradford street. There were more coincidences / examples of fate (depending on your stance) and many more over the last few years. It just seems everytime a door closes, that experience leads to a door opening.

Recently I met an amazing girl at a festival near Ipswich, and the amount of unbelievable occurences that put me in the same bar as her are too numerous to mention, but it involved old primary school friends, lots of intoxicant and even up until 30 seconds before I laid eyes on her I was trying to go elsewhere. Fate didn't let me. Sadly it appears that hasn't worked out, but from her I've been led to blip.... who's to say that wasn't fates plan? Then again I believed that eventually we'd meet again: who knows? Apart from fate. Oh and probably her.

So tonight its my sofa, Xbox and blip open waiting for comments from my favourite blippers! Haha you know who you are. When the weather clears up I have a quite disturbing idea for a blip, inspired by someone else on here. However I'll keep it quiet for now because I think if my Mum sees it she'll take it literally and think I'm about to do something stupid.

Like watch Grimsby Town or grow my hair into a mullet.
