Fountain and Castle 2

A day off today, mostly for skiving purposes.
Princes Street Gardens had been re-opened with the paths somewhat cleared, so I thought I'd reproduce this shot.
I then mounted a wee expedition to Dean Village (passing Meles and Old Bat on the way) to see if there were any blipportunities to be found.
When I arrived (naturally before I'd got my camera out again!) I immediately saw what I'm pretty certain was a Jack-snipe, flitting about over the Water of Leith. Amazing.

(Probably best with embiggenation, for maximum snowy goodness!)
