I remember when I first moved to Stockbridge, Loose Ends and I went for a walk and found ourselves on Ann Street. We both (naively) agreed this would be a fine place to live, and when we got home we had a look online at a few houses for sale there. Eye-opening would be the word.

Turns out Ann Street is one of the most expensive addresses in Edinburgh at an average price of just £1.5 million! Now call me fussy, but when I spend that much on a house I'd kinda like a driveway! Maybe a swimming pool and a helipad. Madness.

Still, it is pretty. And very, very unattainable. :-)
