Oh no - shopping!

Despite the title we actually had quite a nice day.

Met up with some friends and trudged into town to the Foodie Festival in the Assembly Rooms on George Street. Would have been good but was rammed to the rafters with sharp elbowed shovey people. Managed to scoff a hog roast roll and buy some cakes and baklava before we left. Our friends bought some rabbit which we're going to go and help them eat a bit later on (sorry Thumper fans!)

Then we had some lunch and did a bit of shopping. Now I hate shopping but this was about as efficient as it could have been. In and out - new shoes and a new jacket - first shop.

Job done!
