Monday evening and very cold
0500. Leave home in my car for drive to office.
0520. Park car at office car park. Pack up test gear ready for trip to Belfast.
0530. Test gear loaded into van. Set off for drive to Holyhead.
1100. Arrive at Holyhead ferry terminal.
1200. Sail for Dublin.
1400. Back in van for final leg to Belfast
1600. Arrive at hotel in Belfast after a long day on the road.
Unpack, settle in for a cup of tea. Its bloody cold outside with a thin layer of snow on the car park. Not as much as the mainland, and certainly not as much as Scotland. Still, you can see why I did this blip from the window and did not venture back outside - except for my dinner later on.
The rest of the week was busy working outside in sub zero conditions. I cant take a camera onto petroleum sites, which is a shame, as it was a nice view from the control room.
