Where are these ducks going and why are they in such a hurry?

Emsie wanted needed to get some housework done so I took Oliver down to Baffins Pond to get a much needed run around and feed the ducks as well.

Judging by the way they seemed so hungry, I could only assume that they hadn't received much food today. Maybe it was something to do with the cold weather. They were certainly grateful for our presence and the generous offerings of food.

Still waiting for that white stuff down here. We had a few flakes of snow at lunchtime, but nothing more than that.

Ah well, its pie, mash and carrots for tea. I did offer to make some custard to go with our homemade chocolate cake, but they both declined.Maybe I'm just weird?!
