Homemade Granary Loaf

Anne made this loaf for lunch. It tasted as good as it looks.

There was quite a bit of thawing going on today with the temperatures above zero most of the day and the sun shining. We ventured outside to let Orla play in the snow then whilst Anne was making the bread I attempted to get the car to the top of the drive. It took about an hour.

Charles and Kirsty were originally going to be coming to visit today but the extreme weather prevented that. Instead we set up the webcam and got in contact on Skype. Orla sang some nursery rhymes for them.

We watched Strictly and X Factor in the evening after Orla was in bed.
