Upside down ten year old in the pool. Although our house is too damaged to be lived in, miraculously the pool came through unscathed, although it did tsunami out about 10 000l at the time. Now that summer has come we are still going back home to use the pool. Geotech engineeers came yesterday on their day off to do a ground drilling survey. Very interesting and quite an exciting process, but not reallly the results we want to hear. We will have to talk to our civil and structural engineers today and see what the implications of being built on "soft mud, or sand to 9m" depth are. I dont think a traditional english triple brick design was probalby the most appropriate style of construction....as we have found out...mind you it did dwell there for 100 years before it got a big shake up.
