Ticking Away the Moments

By wiiaholic

If you go down to the woods today...

Went for a walk at Oversley Woods near Alcester as it was a lovely sunny day, most of the snow has gone and it was up to around 4 degrees - positively balmy!

As we were driving down the lane we saw a couple of robins and a jay - which I only recognised from a previous blip here by Life of Pontycyclops.

Lots of people were walking their dogs, here everyone says hello as they pass - I'm still not entirely used to living in the country but it is one of the nicest things about it, the friendliness.

Really enjoyed the walk, took loads of photos but not too happy with most of them - the really bright sunshine was a challenge. Took some pics of tiny little acorns which I love only to find that I hadn't managed to get any of them in focus. More practice needed on close ups I think.

It was a lovely afternoon and just to make it perfect, the sunset as we were driving home was spectacular. We'll definitely be back.
