This was the only photo I could manage today - a quick 7am click on the shutter before the best part of 12 hours at work.

There is one interesting thing about the scene - two separate people told me how they had seen major police activity here during the day that followed.

Maybe my reputation as a potential terrorist with a penchant for taking photos has got our boys in blue twitchy again.

Anyway, it was cold, foggy and treacherously icy underfoot. Glad I took the decision last night to catch the train back to Bristol so I could walk in this morning. How anyone can drive on this stuff beats me.
