Get in the Picture

Today was fab!

Got up early, shower, loaded cars and headed into the market place in Newbury. Met my team (included hubby) and erected a stable scene for the Nativity. By 9am the market opened, and for the next four hours we got passers-by to dress-up as Mary & Joseph, the wise men or shepherds or even Angels. They had their photos taken for free and encouraged to go and download them later from the website.

In total we had 45 groups of non-church folks engage with the real meaning of Christmas!

After we dismantled the stable and packed up in three cars, we dispersed as a team! What an amazing team! Then the photog and his wife came round and he and hubby edited and uploaded all the photos to the website for folks to see. While that happened the pizza delivery man found our house once again!!!!!

Evening service at 6pm was followed by lounging on the sofa in front of the firs watching tv. Bedtime know and I'm exhausted. PTL for a great day!
