Kaua'i

We checked out of Turtle Bay, hopped a flight to the island of Kaua'i, and after getting our rental car (a PT Cruiser, natch') we started exploring the island.

Checked out the Spouting Horn Park on the south side of the island, and the Kauai Coffee plantation.

Then we checked into the Kaua'i Beach Resort near Lihue.

The resort was lovely and we had a nice (partial) view of the ocean. The pool is just to the left of umbrellas in the picture.

We bought a rediculously expensive bottle of champagne and sat on our tushes for the rest of the day. It was lovely.
