Burnt brass

Back to blipping, yay! ;o) These gorgeous babies are destined for my studio to be used for artistic purposes. We are currently burning a set of old, wood wormy, weather ravaged chimney sweeping rods on our open fire (just call us thrifty!) which have brass joints on each end of the sections. We fish them out of the fireplace every morning and line them up along the hearth, there's currently 30 awaiting my undivided attention! ;o)
