'Sno Angel
Immaculate timing with the second wave of snow this morning. The Central Belt of Scotland had a snowy central belt that stretched form west of Glasgow to the east of Edinburgh which proceeded to dump snow in great quantities for over six hours. As we all stood outside in the street scraping the worst it off the cars one-by-one we gave in to the fact that we weren't going anywhere fast. Work was off and Snow day number 6 was on.
For those that did venture out, some are still out there stranded on the roads after ten hours and more. In the past half hour there's been numerous posts on Facebook asking if anyone nearby the snowbound roads has spare beds to put people up for the night as they're beginning to abandon their vehicles and walk. Scary stuff.
Euan was shocked to discover though that his school was 'open' today (it was taking pupils in, not sure what actual normal school activity was taking place though). So shocked in fact that he fake flaked out here in the snow. Aye right sonny boy, get your snow camouflaged ass off to the school.
Tomorrow that is, these types of adventures only come along once in a lifetime. Let's go explore...
