Advent Blip - Day 6
I thought Christmas lists were meant to get posted up the chimney or sent off to Lapland? Our two seem to think that writing down their 'wish' list in big letters and sticking it to the side of the fridge will ensure Santa sees it.
As I set up to take this picture, Heather panicked as she realised this was going to be my blip for today. It would seem it's OK to pester mum and dad with constant reminders of what she really, really, REALLY wants for Christmas, but showing it on here would in some way jeopardise or jinx her chances. You can't jinx 'no chance' Hez...
We had a surprisingly pleasant day shopping Hez and I, despite all my fears of it being a nightmare. The shops weren't as busy as I'd expected and she was a really great help in keeping me on the straight and narrow when it came to selecting gifts. We had a good giggle too doing a bit of people watching over a coffee and a coke as we watched some real humdingers bouncing around the shopping centre (How was I to know matching his and hers (cyan blue and magenta) terry-towelling tracksuits are de rigueur during shopping trips?).
So, most of the shop-shopping done now, just a few online bits and pieces to get organised.
Pretty painless mostly - so far...
