Taken by surprise
It wasn't until I came to upload this that I realised I was at the big five hundred. How did that happen?
I suppose it's fitting then that this blip is one of countless similar ones on my journal, though I like to think each one is ever-so-slightly different. The fact that this one has a bit more snow on the beach thanks to yesterday makes it more unusual than the ones I do in summer.
One of the reasons I didn't realise it was my 500th was because of what's going on in my Arctic wasteland otherwise known as home. Last night the house shuddered loudly as the cast iron gutters plummeted to earth for the second time this year, and this evening on my return there was a giant upside-down tidal wave of ice curving halfway down over the front window. I've possibly taken the Santa's grotto theme too far.
While we all have peaks and troughs as blippers, I am glad I've carried on. The whole thing has become a bit easier and my thanks go once again to all at blipcentral along with this lady who's been with me all the way.
