Gooseberry Buds

These berry bushes are so strange. Even in november the buds are swelling, seemingly ready to pop. The gooseberries in particular look as if they can't wait for april.

I'm so inspired by all the beautiful macro's I see. I confined myself to garden pictures and sometimes this is a real torture with so many beautiful landscapes outside and a garden that is really drab and dreary right now...
