Last Man Standing

This year
Our garden has been full of sunflowers
Most of them in very inappropriate spots
Nevertheless, they are always a joy to look at

By now, they're all but gone
Except for this one
Will we see sunflowers from its seed next year?

I'm not sure wether what gender it is (and if sunflowers have a gender at all...

Quite a few already reached blipfoto. I always smile when looking back at them:
(I made a detour from office to customer especially for this blip)
It made such a contrast with the previous one
So surprised they turned red!
A worthy tribute to our opponents - can't get enought of the color!
Such a rich velvelty red - could'nt resist this making my blip of the day!
